Greetings from Iceland with a population of around 330,000 people yet it gets over 400,000 tourists a year.
On the plane on the way in to Reykjavik noticed that the plane was casting a shadows on the clouds below. Had just finished seeing a film about Scandanivan photographers so was feeling inspired.
Arrived and got picked by a very nice taxi driver :) and taken to our tiny but super cool apartment right in the centre of the party district. Went out to a traditional Icelandic restaurant and opted against the whale steak & puffin dish (all on one plate).
At 10:30 pm (see clock photo) it was just starting to get dark. As a result the partying doesn't really start til midnight and really kicks off around 2am through to 5:30am.
