Oslo, Norway

Managed to change my flight from Iceland from a 12 hour flight via London to a 3 hr direct flight to Oslo. Was thrilled to be back in Norway. Fantastically the rasberries and blueberries are both out in abundance! Happy me :) Went straight up to Minna and Jan's magical house and get to meet their son Jo's two children. We all showed each other slide shows of our holidays which was fun but tiring after 1000 photos plus. Then I headed out and met up with my music therapist friend Dag Stian and his wife and 4 month old son Melvin. Had a lovely time catching up!

The next day visited my 100 1/2 year great aunt Sonja who had just finished embroidering a table cloth for me! It's beautiful and delicate and she's truely amazing. Her mind, hearing, sight and most other things seem fantastic. Her legs are giving her trouble but she can still walk and can be quite independent within the confines of the nursing home.

The following day met up with Karen who I went to Seljord Folk High School with 16 years ago. We went to the new opera house & the Munck musem which now features a returned but slightly damaged Scream and Madonna which got stolen a while back but somehow retrieved. Caught bits of a very hip festival and saw a 4 piece electronika outfit called 120 days (?) play a sound track to a film about food production which was super gorey and strengthened my resolution to garden, eat organic and be vegetarian.
